Blow Ups
Temper Tantrums
Are they necessary?
Are they healthy?
Why? Why? Why?
When things don't go as planned
It's o.k. to be mildly upset
No need for an explosion
That is uncalled for
An overreaction to the situation
If you get mad at that problem
What happens when something really bad happens?
I will never understand
If you have extra energy
Put it to good use
Hit a punching bag
Do some push-ups
Go lift some weights
Take a walk or better yet go for a jog
Let's look at the problem at hand
You have trouble with glass containers
They have the snap on covers
That over time stop snapping
When you started putting leftovers away
You get so mad they don't work like they should
We bought the containers only two months ago
I don't know why they aren't working
We will have to write to the company
Maybe it's a problem when they made them
We have to wait and see
You don't want to wait
So you get really mad and only make me sad
I think it is immature and a waste of my time
What if I acted the same way when things didn't go my way
How does that help?
It doesn't
So it is a bad habit you have to stop
Learn to grow up
Act your age
Take the time to write about your situation
No, you only want to complain
I come closer to the solution
You keep repeating the problem
Another day that turns from sweet to sour
In less than an hour

Gypsy Rose Lee I agree with you that it is better to find a way to deal with a problem that comes your way than be mad at yourself and cause more problems. To me getting angry just complicates the problem and then we can't focus or think clearly. Even if the problem goes away it will resurface another day. Unless we break the problem down and dismantle it then we can move on and learn from our mistakes and difficult situations. We become better people and learn to grow and experience new adventures. Thank you so much for sharing. I am also glad your trust in the Lord helps you with every step of the way. There are so many things in life we don't understand. I believe there are answers out there. We just have to look long and hard. Prayer is a great way to find the results we are looking for. Wishing you a wonderful day. Happy writing.

I gave up being angry a long time ago, It was not worth it, and besides now who would I be angry at, myself? I did say some angry word to myself when I had an anxiety problem because I was hoping those days were well past me and it shook me up so I yelled at myself in the mirror to shape up. Luckily with the Lord.s help I have.
