You see my good days
And keep my smile up,
You're there on my bad days
Through every hiccup,

I couldn't imagine
A world without you,
Cause your presence here
Makes love feel true,

Your apart of the family
That I keep in my heart,
I promise to keep you there
Till this world and I depart,

Thank you for being with me
Through thick and thin,
Thank you for the patience
And kindness you show from within,

The term best friend
Says I can tell you anything,
That I can open my heart
And pour out every thing,

As I have come to you
And got advice not in vain,
As you were there for me
I promise to do the same,

For there is nothing more sweeter
Than a friend ship that never ends,
And no day is greater
Than the day we became best friends.

Excellent poem. I loved the way the poem flowed. Enjoyed it.

Very well said, JayDee, closer than one's own family are true "Best Friends." True, they will never condemn you no matter what but offer their advice to be taken or ignored. Family members don't usually do that since they usually want to keep us under their control.

A very pleasant read.
