Behind the Quiet Hubs

Endy is a lover of and a practicing writer. He is always learning ways to improve while spilling his gut. He sees writing as life.

Stanza One

Behind the quiet hubs,

millions of people from all works of life,

though diverse, each unique in his own ways,

having handshakes of friendship over the waves.

Each day, one follows another and friendship sprout,

Old welcome new and young embraces the old.

Knowledge grows across borders,

With the free flow of the informative piece,

All shared with a sense of humour and fun.

Yet, there are no noises,

there are no ripples,

just quiet brains flowing into yearning hearts,

and the warmness of melted hearts,

cheerfully flowing to and fro into hearts and brains.

Person to person, the thoughts softly flows,

love, warmth and passion flows with them too,

all behind the quiet hubs.

Stanza Two

Behind the quiet hubs,

People working really hard,

making their lives and passion counts.

People of countries, races and colours,

though far apart, are not limited by physical distance.

People bounded together by enchanting love,

and enigmatic enthusiasm of shared interest.

People of value,

people homely and calm,

people who allow time to freely ticks,

and let life smoothly transcend and move on,

people sage, people extraordinary and friendly,

all behind the quiet hubs.

Stanza Three

Behind the quiet hubs,

mothers and fathers sit quietly behind computers,

and let learning infants sucked from their pot of wisdom,

young boys and girls tap in and drink,

from the knowledge and wisdom of the age.

Skills, trades, stories and theories share,

and ideas and thoughts flow from one to another,

Yet, there is neither enantiomers or racemases,

Nor chemical isomers and genetic mismatches.

All there are, are avid readers and devout writers,

who find a common playing ground for mutual gains,

a helpful platform for interests and people to meet,

where readers read and writers write.

The community of foreigners turning friends,

and friends turning strong allies,

all conjured over the waves, over the internet space,

all behind the quiet hubs.

Author's Note

Sitting quietly behind my computer with no friend in sight, I ran through Hubpages with keen interest. I couldn't see any physical movement, noise or see anyone but I noticed activities going on. People following themselves, people commenting on articles, sharing ideas, information, news and stories. I got those notifications but I could not anyone. That got me thinking about what could be happening 'behind the quiet hubs'. I'm aware there are humans; millions of humans sitting quietly behind their computer like me, consumed in sharing knowledge, ideas, information and passion; and making their lives, times, and passion count.

I also imagine people making friends irrespective of background, nationality, skin colour, race, age and cultural differences. People who are committed to sharing knowledge, ideas and the things they are passionate about. I imagined among these people are readers and writers alike, and they pursue their interest without neither discrimination nor quarrels. These people are not deterred by distance and nationality difference.

Interestingly, there are people making new friends and others tightening up the older bond of friendship. I figured, love might also grow over this wave, who knows.

With all these crazy thoughts going on inside my head, I decided to write this poem, 'Behind the Quiet Hubs'.

What really can be happening behind the quiet hubs? Can anyone imagine?

The possibilities are limitless, mothers teaching children, brains warming hearts, knowledge moulding and shaping people, and by extension the world, people helping others, impressions and CPMs growing from scents into dollars, editors editing articles and on it goes.

Really, 'behind the quiet hubs' is a community of people who truly care one for another, people who over the waves and within the space of the internet had relationships conjured.

'Behind the Quiet Hubs' is a community friendly poem aim at entertaining, spurring imagination and building a healthy community. It is hope you'll enjoy this poem, and perhaps laugh at my crazy kind of imagination. (Lol).

What do you think can be happening 'behind the quiet hubs'? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comment box.

Imagination drives. It's one of the most powerful tools of human creation.

Thank you, Jolly.

It is one of the things that made the platform an interesting and a go-to place.

Glad you enjoy the read.

Hupages is what struck me first on reading the title. Yes you are so right in summing up what goes on here. Nice read.

Thank you, Mary for following and for stopping-by to comment on "behind the quiet hubs".

HubPages had been so far very interest. A kind of mind awakening place to be.

I am here to learn and fill my ever craving soul.

An eye-scan of your hubs show you write more on places and travels though not limited. I hope to travel those places with you in those words and hubs you have written.

I know it's going to be interesting and fun visiting those places in my imaginations and making do with your advice along the way. Lol. That's going to be great, I guess.

Thank you and do have a wonderful time traveling, working, loving and hubbing.

You have captured well what's behind our hubs. That's all we are, happily pounding the keys of our computers happily sharing ideas and creating new links so more and more, our world becomes one.

Thank you, Manatita.

Your poems inspired me to start doing poetry on HubPages. Since then, your support is overwhelming. I appreciate them because they have helped me to grow in many ways.

For instance, before I read your poem which inspired me into sharing mine here. I have only one or two articles on a niche site, with about 10-15 articles in total. But at the moment, I have over 15 articles on niche sites and more the 30 articles in total. Not too great a feat though, but if you know I achieve that in less than 1/4 of the time I spent here. You will understand your impact. Thank you for your kind heart and encouraging comments.

Yes, behind the hubs are real people, committed, knowledgeable, kind and encouraging.

I have been on other platforms, but HubPages is the place for me.

Thanks and remain blessed.

We are very real and we have not let go of who we are in personality. We throw out the same things, but for some it is safer on line ... or so it seems.

The mind ... the Heart ... God is always with us.

Original poem and quite creative.
