In the Name of Allah --the Merciful, the Compassionate ...

Wisdom from the Master

"There's only one thing that is, was and ever shall be, and that is Love.

The Love that creates, the Love that nourishes and the Love that sustains God's Universe." - Sri Chinmoy

O Light, my awakening Light, Come!

O Light, my awakening Light, Come!

I sail within, like a ship, lashed mercilessly

Against the rugged rocks and turbulent waves.

The tides of my life, carves heavy burdens on

Shoulders, carrying the weight of myriad challenges.

There’s a leak at the bottom of my ship; I

Begin to sink to the abyss of my emptiness.

Here in these choppy waters, fear stabs my heart

Like daggers, loneliness slices the endings of my

Jagged nerves, as the searing pain penetrates by emotions.

A sea of acrid water, aggravates my lacrimal ducts;

My tears fall like rain, even as insecurity eats into

My despair; hopelessness spills sad songs in my demise.

Here in my dark ocean of anxiety; I espy a

Beacon of hope in the distance. I reach out

To Jannah, entreating my adhan, Bismalah

And Shahada to Allah, even as falcons hover

Above my ship, and the fierce sharks scowl impatiently.

“Allahu Akbar! Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim!

La ilaha ilalah …” x2. My Beloved responds:

Flowers know intuitively, that even as they fall in Autumn, so too, they will rise again in Spring - Manatita

Flowers shine with the pinnacle of grandeur, secretly laughing with the invisible. - Manatita

Flowers shine with the pinnacle of grandeur, secretly laughing with the invisible. - Manatita

“Indeed, I’m Your Lantern, the same Light

That graces the flames of your Heart, makes

It blush like a fragrant rose, in sweet Surrender.

Wait for me, for although I seem to fade with the

Dusk, I will rise again, like the glorious daybreak, so

You can hear my cute songs, like that of hummingbirds;

See me dance in your soul, like Radha to Sri Krishna’s flute.

Let hope emerge, like spring daffodils, faith

Remain undaunting, like Hanuman’s, for I

Will light your Spirit with supernal Love;

Fill your core with the nectar of immortality.

The rose is a symbol of fragrance, beauty ...sacrifice;

Yet you are so much more beautiful! Even the illustrious

Moon and radiant sun are no match for your grandeur.

Sunset is a precursor to darkness, glimmering with glee

In the indigo moon, even while surrendering to the rising dawn.

Come! For I’m not far away, just pulsing secretly, in

The sacrament of the present moment. I will rise,

Like a Lion, when you glow, like the sun and stars;

Your blood burns with agony, for my sweet lustre.

Meanwhile, I’m in the Citadel of the Heart and I wait

For your sweet tears –the Light of your yearning for

The eternal. Fear not, sweet angel, where can I go?

For together as One, we are, an eternal journey. Come!”

My fears dissolved in wings of Light, and the ship of sorrows

Was no more. I avoided Hades - Jahannam; sailed beyond my

Sunset tides, to the beacon of promise, in another golden sunrise.

these poems are a beautiful tribute. The first one sees a person so burdened, but prayer soothes the soul. I really enjoyed reading both poems, Manatita.

Misbah Sheikh from The World of Rebels. on September 02, 2021:

Bro, It's stunning! Splendid!! When I was reading it, Allahu Akbar was the only voice that came out of my heart.

We all face difficulties and challenges in our lives. We can feel them as large as mountains at times. They exist, but they are not as big as the Lord.

If pain and sorrow are the rungs on the ladder I'm climbing, surrender is the final one. It is a true blessing if our trials and tribulations bring us closer to God. I believe, Surrender is both the key and the only cure.

What a lovely piece of writing, and another loving tribute to me. I am overjoyed and grateful to you. And I thank Allah that I met you here on HubPages. Thank you for your kindness, Love and support. This means a great deal to me. Much Gratitude, bro.

I really enjoyed your and Sri Chinmoy's quotes. I also liked the video. That's really wonderful. I think you can understand Hindi/Urdu quite well.

Sending Blessings and prayers your way today!!!

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on September 02, 2021:

When we love someone, we wish to take away their pain or, at the very least, to ease it somewhat. Hopefully this tribute will do the same for our Misbah. Blessings and hugs pour out to both of you, my friends.
