Baby, I Want You to Know That...

What it feels like the first time.

I remember my initial reaction when I know that there's a heart beating within me for the first time - it was fear. That's because I wasn't ready yet. It wasn't planned either, so I felt confused - its a mixed emotion. I know that being a mom is awesome. You know when you see her sweet and innocent smile. It can take your breath away. But it can also be fearsome when you have that little bundle of joy who depends on you all the time. What if you fall short? What if you feel so tired? These are a few questions that struck me. So I just write my fears away. There should be no room for negativity when you know someone depends on you. Thus she also became my strength to move forward.

Making the decision to have a baby is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body.

Baby I want you to know that...

...The first time I know you are within me

Different emotions enveloped me

Fears, Hesitation, Excitement, Happiness.

Though after sometime I realized;

That I don't have to worry to what lies ahead of us.

I just have to live each day wit you.

Giving you all the love and care

And being strong to love and protect you.

...You make me smile each day.

As the day passes by I watch you grow

I want to feel every movement you make inside my womb.

I don't want to miss anything about you.

In the day I think of you often.

Even in my dream you're still there to make me happy.

We have a world of our own, together with your father.

I always pray that we'll be a "One Happy Family."

...Having you is the greatest miracle

I have ever received in my life.

How you grow within me is like a mystery

Waiting for you seem like eternity.

But I know good things come through waiting.

That I will not wait in vain for you my little angel;

For I will be a mother soon.

Then, she came to the world it was pure joy and excitement. I always look forward to what will be in store for her. My heart seeks to make her feel loved all the time.

A Gift

You were every couple's dream.
One of their heart's desire
You are a gift, an answered prayer from above
That will make our family life complete.

They've waited for you for years,
Now the years turned into months,
months into days, days into hours
then the moment to hold you in their arms.

It's a miracle how you grow in the womb,
Still can't believe you're here.
Felt blessed and elated though
Heart sing praises and thanks to God.

So what to do while waiting for you?
Well, just imagine the first time to hold you,
Your first cry, your first smile,
That can melt a heart of stone.

Whispered a prayer for you
Good health and wisdom be upon you
Future may seem uncertain
But believe that god is there no matter what.

The joys and fears.

Every milestone she made is notable. The first time she smiled, Her facial expressions when she first eats. The moment she first sits, the minute she walks and mumbles her first word. I also did love to watch her in her deep sleep. I pray hard when she felt something bad. I want to get over it in an instant. I just can't take it to see her cry. It all leaves me in awe. Being a mom is truly a blessing.

There may be a lot of hardships along the way but it will not matter because, with God's guidance, a mother can overcome all trials because her children are her inspiration.
