Autumn Splendor Fall Delight

Autumn Splendor

Autumn Splendor

Poetry

Autumn splendor begins with the changing hue of leaves

From the multiple colors that crown the tops of trees

Red, orange, tan, brown, and gold

Their beauty is a wonderful sight to behold

Mountains radiate the glistening changes of fall

A majestic scene that is enjoyed by one and all

Just for a glimpse, of certain mountain views, people drive for miles

While children enjoy the simple pleasure of jumping in a leaf pile

Pumpkins, kettle corn, hot cider, and hayrides, yes it's the season

Celebrate Autumn splendor and cherish fall delight

This festive time of year can be enjoyed both day and night

Such a joy to read, and I still enjoy jumping in leaf piles. Autumn is the season I most look forward to.

Cheryl,

Although I am not quite ready for the season to change, I believe it is upon us.

Nice one.

Such magnificent reminder Fall is almost upon us, Cheryl. For the last few years I have not had a large array of fall colors to view, maybe I'll have more this year. Thanks for the reminder and sharing it.
