At the Breaking of Dawn
Cheryl is a published poet who has won awards for her work. She enjoys sharing about the wonders of nature in prose.
So silently the earth is quaking
As daylight pierces the atmosphere
The light of dawn now is breaking
A fresh new morning is near
The black of darkness is rolling away
The sun begins to shine
Making room for the entrance of a new day
The handiwork of the Divine
Radiant light bursts through the sky
Announcing a brand new start
Birds are chirping as they fly
The night is forced to depart
As the glory of morning unfolds
How blessed are those who look upon
A brand new story untold
At the breaking of a new dawn

Beautifully said, Cheryl, and as I was reading it I began to reflect on this world as a day since we are said in Gen. 1:14 And realized we are at its sunset because we can see thing happening in the east as soon as it happens like Jesus said in Mat. 24:27. That makes me question whether we are ready for it or not.
Thanks for sharing it.
