Moments - As the Clock Ticks

Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.

as-the-clock-ticks

As the clock ticks and the time flies

Each moment seems to come alive

In the sparkle of the silver stream

In the light of dancing sunbeams

In the whisper of the gentle breeze

In the secrets of buzzing bees

In the sweet call of chirping birds

Mystical tunes until now unheard

In the sound of silence,

Now I can hear natures heartbeat,

In unspoken words,

The clock ticks and time flies

As nature's heart beats

The world comes alive

Yes, time always runs on and on. That's why they say to live from moment to moment and be happy in those moments. I especially like the following lines in your poem:

The clock ticks and time flies

As nature's heart beats

The world comes alive
