Armageddon Day Of Reckoning
Writing is a cathartic process in which I find my voice in different facets of each poem. Poetry, is a unique discourse of reflections
I am preparing for war
gearing up my mentality for Armageddon
Babies crying looking for answers
Why now, in my head I am screaming
I am in car and it’s speeding up
Standing at the edge of a cleft wanting to jump off
Voices keep tell me to be strong
There is more to life if you only open your third eye
I can hear the battle horn sounding
The earth vibrates from the marching of ghost
Searching for a resting place
How the streets are filled with soulless souls
And the ones who hunger for more than just food
A place to where they can find rest and not
Worry about what tomorrow holds
Still the voices are getting louder
There are no answers
Now its time to take a stand preparing
For a war in the land
No food no shelter
Sickness disease and starvation
Earthquakes, tornados, volcanos erupting
Echoing the cries of the wounded in spirit
Armageddon, day of reckoning who will be
Left standing?
