April Haiku #2115
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
Miles of wet thick snow
cover pastures of many
miles of land to sea.
No longer with view
to the larger world outside
my seat has been moved.
But there a painting
sits within my new vision
orchestrated tone.
Natural color
this hue seems from the outside
brings needed comfort.
For just one moment
these struggles lose their power
where orange meets blue.
The curtains are drawn
things artificially lit
by overhead light.
This landscape sits
mounted on a wall of white
bring my thoughts outside.

Beautiful!
I especially liked the simplicity of this one:
No longer with view
to the larger world outside
my seat has been moved.
