April Haiku #1238
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
Today my prayer
did not include my backyard
or the birds within
Along with family,
what life other then ourselves?
life that is threatened
this green world of ours
a responsibility
carry our burden
we have destroyed land
created ecosystems
without any thought
yet we pray for us
not for the land we destroy
have we missed the point?
God is all of this
a balance between nature
we have skewed the scales

Yes, my friend. We have damaged this beautiful world and only if we begin to amend our ways now, will there be a chance to save our lives and for the future generation to come. Well expressed. Blessings to all. whonu

A beautiful description of what we are doing to the world and to ourselves. Wonderful poetry.
