April Haiku #0009
My name is Jamie Lee Hamann and I started writing poetry on Hubpages back in 2013. Every year I share a poem a day in April.
April Haiku #0009
Long meadows of grass
wind heard in Red Leaf Maple
on manicured lawn.
Under Pleides
the rain wash down the rainbow
cool and hard granite.
A network of Oak
married on grassy meadow
an oddball couple.
Drainage from our streets
quickly moves to great rivers
that feed vast valleys.
Asbesto's covered
insulated forest green
concrete spiderwebs.
Cities of loose parts
poorly engineered machines
from the great redo.
Touch smooth inner thigh
visions of visit to breast
vibratory kisses.
Redefine nature
as I collect morning dew
from our love's passion.
