April Dodoitsu #32
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
Never Too Old
Never too old for a walk
I repeat todays mantra
poorly prepared hands hide
hidden in pocket
Never too old for a stroll
extend hand to nearest friend
offer the joy of movement
let's see the morning
Never too late for sorry
humble over our mistakes
express lessons truly learned
forward along path
Never too alone to be
part of a community
a return from the hillside
embrace family
Never too early to learn
pass up opportunity
for total life expansion
knowledge is the key
Old but never truly old
just a youthful mind within
body that holds a purpose
for now just a walk

Stay playful. The age doesn't matter as long as the heart and soul is on the beat. Great reminders in few words, more power to you! ( Wink)

I am glad you have a youthful mind. Yes, it's never too late. Life always gives us chances. Lucky are the ones who can see it, and I am sure you are. Take the advantage. A whole story in few lines of poetry. Superb!!
Blessings always

Yes, stay youthful.
We are never too old.
Let's take that walk.
