And She Forgave Him

Misbah enjoys poetry and loves to convey the messages of Love through her poems.

The Back Stage Story

'Brenda Arledge,' a fellow writer, beautiful friend, and a great poet, gives us word prompts each week to inspire us and help us broaden our creativity. She provided us with the word "forgiveness" this week. This is a great word, but forgiving someone is never an easy job. Still, I believe we all have some valid reasons to forgive others. We must forgive others not only because they deserve it, but also because forgiveness is a therapeutic technique for taking in pain and releasing it with great joy.

Heartbreaks are an unavoidable part of life. We all experience some form of heartbreak at some point in our lives. "And she forgave him" is a poem about a girl who forgives the love of her life and explains why she did so.

“True forgiveness is when you can say, “Thank you for that experience.”

— Oprah Winfrey

She Forgave Him For All The Cuts And Wounds

And she forgave him,

For the cuts and wounds,

That were given to her heart.

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

For all the lies,

He spoke with great confidence,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

For the fake promises,

He made to live with her forever,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

For the sweet dreams,

He shattered with no mercy,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

For faking the love,

For blindfolding her eyes,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

For everything he wronged,

For her bleeding heart that cried for so long,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

Not because he ever loved her,

But because she loved him with all her heart,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

From all her heart, To feel alive,

To breathe again in the open air,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

She had to speak, the pain she endured,

To release the pain, she wrote a poem,

She forgave him...

“There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love.”

— Bryant H.McGill

And she forgave him,

Forgiving is a good deed,

Because God loves the Forgivers,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

To give birth to hope,

To live again, to feel fresh,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

The wound may heal with time,

But every time the scar will make her remind,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

To refresh her energy,

With all her heart, and soul,

She forgave him...

I Have Forgiven You With All My Heart And Soul!!

I Have Forgiven You With All My Heart And Soul!!

And she forgave him,

The time will pass, life would end,

On the day of judgment, so he wouldn't be questioned,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

Because Love was pure,

She cared for his afterlife too, so that God won't punish him,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

She moved forward, never turned around,

So he doesn't feel bad for what he did,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

To release all the tensions,

His love gifted, God is only love, he reminded her, so

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

So he can live a refreshing life,

Without any sigh and curse, so he can smile again,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

To experience the pain,

For the evolution of her soul.

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

She knew love can bring her pain, knowing that she loved him,

She made a mistake, to forgive herself,

She forgave him...

And she forgave him,

There were so many reasons to do so,

It was important for her to forgive, to free herself and his soul,

She forgave him...

Free yourself from the prison and forgive them

Free yourself from the prison and forgive them

“I believe forgiveness is the best form of love in any relationship. It takes a strong person to say they’re sorry and an even stronger person to forgive.”
