Annie is a student who loves to do a lot of stuff in her free time. Those are reading books, arts, craft, writing, music, and basketball.
Kobe Bryant, born on 23 August 1978, recently died on 26 January 2020 in a helicopter crash. People say he was "the champion", but who was he really?
Here I am to give an ode to the man we miss. To give an ode to the person, whose death overpowers the world.
They say he was the next Michael Jordan,
They he was the older LeBron James,
They say he was a five time NBA champion,
But who was he really?
Is what I ask.
He was a loving father to four young girls,
He was a man with dreams,
He was a faithful Catholic,
He was a man who knew languages,
He was a rapper and singer,
He was an ambassador for charities,
He was the bridge
Between Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
He was truly the "Black Mamba".
And this world will truly miss a great human being!
Everything negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.
— Kobe Bryant
Note: Please tolerate this ode as it is my first ode.

Good poem. Indeed, at the end of the day, faith in God and family are everything.

All I knew about Kobe Bryant before I read your poem was that he was a great basketball player. Thank you for teaching me more about his life. His death (and the death of the other people in the helicopter) is very sad.
