An Affair With the Clouds: Poem

Standing on my terrace,

I want to embrace,

Those bright clouds,

Always on the move,

Mesmerising and charming,

Wandering and shining,

Inspiring and intriguing,

Moving and changing,

Morning and evening,

Un-ending and floating,

Sailing and hiding,

Alluring and attracting,

I often wonder—

Are you the Angel,

Are you the gateway to heaven,

Are you freedom personified,

Are you keeping an eye on everyone,

Where do you begin,

Where is your end,

Yes—You inspire us to move,

And keep on moving in life!!

I love to watch the clouds: The Thoughts Behind The Poem

Watching the moving clouds, is one of my favourite activities. Capturing those amazing shapes, of the moving clouds gives me immense pleasure.
The first picture above is from a moving train, and the second one, from my home terrace.
This is called, ‘being there at the right moment, at the right place.’

Nature is abundantly beautiful, and it’s not possible to capture it in our pictures.
Spending some quiet moments, while watching the movements of the clouds is therapeutic for me.

Not only does it make me wonder, about their beautiful forms and colours, they also inspire me to ‘move on‘ in life.

The clouds convey the message, that nothing is permanent in life, not even our troubles.
