Moving clouds

An Affair With the Clouds—Poem.

Standing on my terrace,

I want to embrace,

Those bright clouds,

Always on the move,

Mesmerising and charming,

Wandering and shining,

Inspiring and intriguing,

Moving and changing,

Morning and evening,

Un-ending and floating,

Sailing and hiding,

Alluring and attracting,

I often wonder—

Are you the Angel,

Are you the gateway to heaven,

Are you freedom personified,

Are you keeping an eye on everyone,

Where do you begin,

Where is your end,

Yes—You inspire us to move,

And keep on moving in life.

The clouds from my terrace

The clouds from my terrace

I love to watch the clouds

Watching the clouds is one of my favourite activities.
Spending some quiet moments, while watching their movements is therapeutic for me.

Not only does it make me wonder, about their beautiful forms and colours, they also inspire me to ‘move on‘ in life.

The clouds convey the message, that nothing is permanent in life, not even our troubles.

What would the world be like without clouds? They bring us such wonderful inspiration and imagery. I can't imagine living on a planet without beautiful white fluffy clouds floating lazily by. I always love your poetry. It does my heart good.

Blessings,

Denise

It used to be one of my favorite things to do as a child, especially in the spring or fall while flying a kite, to watch the clouds skim by. Now I hardly ever have time for such things.

Blessings,

Denise

I think that many people love the ever-changing palette of clouds in the sky. It is fun to imagine images in them. When I was a small child, we would lie on the grass with my mother and try to describe what each of us saw in the clouds. Sweet memories!

Well this is just wonderful. You made me think about my favorite time of day for clouds. Sunset? Sunrise? Night? Oh well I just love them all. Some of my favorite memories are hiking up high enough to look down at them.

I really liked your style here. It just flows so well. Much thanks.
