Salon ambience

The enchantment of nature, is Love’s secret Palace, beating its symphony in the Hearts of many. Blended in the magnitude of its inner Silence, we dance and play, like children, spontaneously hugging the intimacy of toys.

Nature's ambience

Ambience in Beauty, A Sonnet

Ambience in beauty -- a Lover’s kiss,

Sweet is the flavor of its character.

The awe of nature, a tenor for Peace,

The cadence of dawn, a joy forever.

The glow of the Heart is grandeur unseen,

Echoing in the eloquence of sounds.

Whispering to the soul of stars serene,

A twinkling paradise, where bliss abounds.

Rainbows and sunsets, belongs to the Bard,

His pen and canvas, great pearls of delight.

Like redolent roses; aromas of God;

Herons and butterflies, graceful in flight.

The aura of Love, a sight to behold,

With ambience-ecstasy-sparkling gold.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 2nd July, 2018.

I could not pikck one source of beauty versus another in your poll, brother.

However, this is truly a wonderful tribute to Berlie, a talented writer.

Thanks for creating such a fine work from the heart.

Much respect,

manatita44 (author) from london on July 04, 2018:

A very beautiful sentiment. Thank you so much!!

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on July 03, 2018:

Verlie is one of the more talented writers on HP. It's nice to see her take center stage with your beautiful tribute.

Mitchell Marso from Mankato, MN on July 03, 2018:

Speechless. Although, speech spoken is no longer void of speech... in that case... beautiful. A beautiful sonnet. Resonating the auras of those to be seen in ambience, it's self.

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Yes Linda L.

The inner heaven is indeed full of Love and Light. Thank you so much!!

I'm not sure either. Sometimes I write first and think after. Lol.

I have dedicated both poems and prose to many people. There are two styles.

In one style I'm extolling the virtues of the individual, a little of their character, traits, hobbies, family life ... and some more. Naturally I know them fairly well.

These days I use the second style. If You follow me; if I admire your work, sooner or later I will dedicate something to you. It need not have any bearing or resemblance to who you are in character. Just something about you that draws me. That's all.

Finally, it is easier to say why I write. I write to serve, to inspire, awaken or reach the Heart of all receptive souls. I carry a Light and simply offer without expectation.

Long explanation to your comment. I'm so happy you came. My motive is always to serve. Thank you so much!!-Lantern Carrier.

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Thanks Sean.

Your support and encouragement is always welcomed. Children are good examples of God's simplicity and sweetness. Peace.

You are so right. Too true. Appreciations.

Ioannis Arvanitis from Greece, Almyros on July 02, 2018:

Thank you, my Brother, for reminding us that we live in Paradise!

The light in the eyes of children smiling! The best description for Paradise!

"Οι Ουρανοί διηγούνται δόξα Θεού!"

That means: "The Heavens fable about the Glory of God!"

Shaloo Walia from India on July 02, 2018:

A perfect reminder to appreciate the beauty all around us which we so often fail to notice!

Linda Lum from Washington State, USA on July 02, 2018:

There is no one perfect answer to your poll. Beauty is to be found everywhere, if one has an open and loving heart.

How much God must love us that even in our human condition He would give us such things of beauty. Imagine, we cannot, how much more beautiful Heaven will be where all is perfection?

Verlie Burroughs from Canada on July 02, 2018:

Beautifully penned Sonnet manatita, not sure why it's addressed to me, but I accept it humbly, with respect Verlie

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Well, my Sweet.

Shows your wisdom ... your depth of understanting. Ambience is like Cadence. They are everywhere.

How are you? I always love seeing you and hearing from you, but yes, sometimes there are practicalities, I know.

Wishing you all the best ... always.

Nellieanna Hay from TEXAS on July 02, 2018:

There was really no way for me to truly choose the ONLY source of ambience and beauty in your poll. All of them generate it. If one wanted to pinpoint minute specifics of ambiance and beauty, each blade of grass, each drop of rain is a source.

I so like your tribute to Verlie. She is one of my favorite poets and persons. Her words are, indeed, soulful.

I especially like and agree with this:

" The solution of the mind

Is an organised way

Of not coming to any conclusion." -Sri Chinmoy.

Your sonnet is lovely.

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

I was just re- reading Chris' lines and feeling the beauty of his waterfalls. I, m also hearing the birds singing around me.

So you reflections on beauty is on que. Thank you so much!!

Mary Norton from Ontario, Canada on July 02, 2018:

You are indeed a poet touching hearts with your words. There are many lines in your poetry to treasure and just ponder upon. Thank you for reminding me to see and appreciate the beauty around me.

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Then Rinita,

It's a perfect comment. Lol.

A most sublime sentiment. Thank you. Om Shanti!!

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Interesting journey, that of you and Eric. Be careful, my Bro. Know the risks before travel. Peace.

Rinita Sen on July 02, 2018:

Ah! I was thinking when your offering for Verlie would come. I love her work, they are so soulful, and this offering of yours is equally so. Each line in this poem is crafted to perfection, and more. It is so perfect I cannot even pick a favorite line!

Chris Mills from Traverse City, MI on July 02, 2018:

I am well. I spent much of Saturday here, then off to camp in the mountains.

manatita44 (author) from london on July 02, 2018:

Thank you, my Dear Brother.

Yes ... waterfalls can be so healing! Thank you very much!!

Chris Mills from Traverse City, MI on July 02, 2018:

I listened to a waterfall for a while Sunday morning after waking to the sound of rain on my tent. These are music to my ears. Your sonnet reveals a universe of beauty.
