If you love biology and or plants but you are struggling to understand plant reproduction read this poem and try to analyse it.
I am in biology class and I am just thinking about the pollination between two styles that connect us.
I seriously can not wait for you and I to become bisexual.
The way your anther compliments your filament makes my carpel shake up my receptacle.
You know that I can not self pollinate so,
I am hoping you can come over to my place so we can pollinate one more time.
I seriously miss that intimacy of our gametes.
I want to feel your pollen grain swim down my stalk,
So that it reaches my egg cell in the ovule.
I remember the first day we met.
You saw my bright big pink petals,
And all you could say was, "hi there mamacita",
I will never cheat on you with the wind,
Because I know you got me.
We shall name our baby fertilisation pollen tube.
