Mind racing, ground shaking
your world falling apart
Music blasting, always acting
Pretending you’re a work of art
Making others proud
Never doing what makes you happy
Trying not to cry
Because they say your being sappy
Doing things to please others
Never being yourself
Wearing your heart on your sleeve
But wanting to put it away on a shelf
Hiding away even though you are in plain sight
Wishing you could throw it all away
And not be afraid to take flight
Never giving in, you always stay
Hoping that for just once
They would see things your way

@Emee Chan, Thank you so much!

This is so true, we're always so concerned about what other people think or say about us that we often neglect our own wants and needs. I like it, keep up the good work!
