A Poem of Praise

Personal testimonies and life experiences that illuminate the undeniable presence of God.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” - Revelation 4:11

Praise

I praise you for Who you are

I praise you for what You've done

Not just for me but for Mankind

You thought of us when we thought not of you

You gave it all up, your blood ebbed away and from your limp, dying body,

You shed it for us

You didn't try to save Yourself

But You followed Your Father’s will

So that we may someday join you

I am so grateful for You

I am so touched by You

I am so loved by You

You take us in our brokenness

And make us new

You turn ashes into beauty

You turn water into wine

You gave us life, not just once but twice

This is why we are born-again

Because of You

and your Love

Your reckless, foolish love

For sinners like us

Thank you Father

For you are wonderful

You are amazing

You are Holy

You are worthy of all praise

And yet

We still fail You.

Help us to be more like you, our Prince of Peace

Our Great High Priest,

Our Father,

The Almighty Creator,

The One who helps us overcome.

Help us.

Bless us.

Bring us closer to You til’ one day we meet your glorious face.

Weeping may endure for the night

But Joy comes.

Joy Comes.

Joy.

Thank you Jesus.

"I will fail you

Of that I'm sure

I will remind you of the pain forevermore

And when my sins are just a memory

Faith restored

I will fail you

To the core." -Demon Hunter

Hello, Christian writings, yours is the first Christian poem I have ever read online. Very lovely and simple. Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for His unspeakable gift of eternal life. Hallelujah!
