I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.
A hauntingly familiar melody stirs inside my mind. It takes me back to childhood memories lost in a daydream when time was on my side. Life is now drifting on auto-pilot where time hangs on mist above an out-going tide.
Concentrating on thoughts from back in the day my mind searches for the comfort of where my memories have remained. Finding it hard to stay awake the memories search for a way into the present moment.
Impressions flee the silent consciousness.
Reflections mirror imagination inside madness and mania.
Bewilderment sends a shiver down my spine.
I willing walk into the twilight as the sun goes down below life’s horizon.

Much to think about here! It seems to talk of old age trying to recapture good memories and finding comfort.
