Poem: A Voice From Afar

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Poem Summary

A voice from afar is a poem about walking though life without knowing there is a guiding hand to reach out to help us. As one wanders through life he can hear a voice that can bring light into his path if he grabs hold. His pain will go away and he will not be lost again.

A Voice From Afar

I walked this way

many an hour,

never did I see

the light shine.

As I wandered,

I heard

a voice from afar

call down.

Take my hand

I will be your friend,

do not worry

you will not hurt again.

Take my hand

let me guide you,

you will not be

lost again.
