A Specific Moment in Time

In the stillness of early morning
Just before the break of dawn
As twilight’s gleam is fading
I open my eyes and yawn
The crickets suddenly cease their song
Not a sound in the atmosphere
You have one leg draped over mine
You’re snuggling and holding me near
Suddenly the silence breaks
Crickets are chirping once more
I sigh as you release your sweet embrace,
Roll away and begin to snore

That's a lovely poem. I like the sound of crickets, I find them very relaxing.
