A Sincere Yet Selfless Deed
Finding my inspiration through the voice of music and poetry. Being creative and finding ways in making life easier and smarter for others.
Time is precious,
it’s time we heed
Pay it forward,
It’s sincerely
in need of a
selfless deed
Life has its pressures,
But we count every blessing,
and help each other
find their treasures
It’s not the money you make
or ladders you climb,
give while you take
never appear fake
Always be humble,
strive to be the pillar
to those
that fumble or stumble
It starts with only
planting the seed,
think of how many
mouths we could feed,
remember it is a sincere
yet selfless deed
In essence
Paying it forward is selfless. Always remain humble, and extend a helping hand to one another, without expecting something in return. It is the greatest gift.

@ Ruby, such a precious comment and well deserved.
One good deed deserves another. It’s moments like the one you have experienced that show us how much of happiness it brings to the next.
@ Lorna, thank you for your beautiful and appreciated comment.
There are so many lessons we take out from life experiences. This definitely is highlight to it all. We never know what the next person is going through, and by paying it forward, we are making a difference to the world.

This is an inspiring poem. Playing it forward is a wonderful act of kindness. My husband and I went to the pizza hut, when he went to pay the bill he was told that a man had paid the bill. We asked who it was and the waitress said that she didn't know him. He said that he was playing it forward.
