A Simple Wish

08/11/2017

Countless stars are scattered across the night sky
But my heart clenched with pain and the tears run by
Knowing that I'll never be able to be fully in your life
And return your love and care, affection as your wife.

I look at the stars so shiny and tiny yet so beautiful
You are my best friend who is so wise and super cool
Although I admire, respect and is fond of you
I don't have peace in my heart when I prayed about you.

a-simple-wish-of-my-heavy-heart

That's why I think that God has created me to be single for Him
I can be your friend as long as you need me to be
I understood later what you meant yesterday
Though you said it's nothing when I asked you yesterday.

All I wish for you to have the best things in your life
One day have a family and a caring wife
I never want you to hold yourself back but move forward
I'm truly sorry that I can't be more than a friend.

I look at the stars and I see one shooting down
I can't change its course even if I cry, plead or frown
Its sudden movement surprised me and felt sad somehow
I was hoping it's not you who would have a break down.

I love you as you are my longest male best friend
I'm so touched by your kindness and thoughtfulness from your end
So my dear friend, I hope you would forgive me
It's painful to watch that I'm the cause of your pain within.

You're very special to me as you always understood me
I've noticed that your thoughts are quite rare when it comes to me
Yet please don't miss yourself by missing me
Please don't hurt yourself by thinking about me.

Your birthday is one of my God given most important blessings
I wouldn't have found you if you weren't among His surprised gifts
Your born day is The Gift please cherish no matter what
Please take care, be safe and always be good no matter what :)
