A Silly Poem About Washing: Yes, More Silly Poetry

Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

My wife often says I am like a writing machine

and she'd like me better as dish washing one

what she doesn't know, I wash people clean

sometimes out of love, other times for fun.

That washing may look like dragging through mud

even needless as they are brainwashed so well

while nothing could wash others short of flood

though a cold shower might remove spell.

Those politicizing ones, like money launderers

washing dirty deals off their sinning champ

at times resembling blinded wanderers

washing still leaving them damp.

Washington sounds like a big washing place

but a murder capital including murder of truth

with no detergent that might wash every face

and all honest politicians fitting in phone booth.

Those two Georges got into a serious lengthy fight

Washington won --- the king retreated to his queen

George liked cleanliness so he painted House white

well, let all the history tell how long it remained clean.

I would write some more but my dishes call

as my wife does cooking, I wash dishes after

and our washing machine is not needed after all

so I can keep writing -- for a clean fun and laughter.

(Sorry, dude, for not a word about the washing girl in the photo)
