1878—9: A Lover's Code

Years ago, I met a girl;
She's timid.
She's quiet,
An introvert.
She captured me,
Then took my heart.
It was the greatest thing happened.
A dream.

She was once mine;
My inamorata—
She's pure as driven snow;
An Aphrodite to my eye.
With her, I see my future;
A perpetual life.
In vivid imagination,
There in my mind.
Still, a dream.

Wonderful poetry.

I love the simplicity and openness of this one.

To find one you love.

Hi, Jen! Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. I think if you are both happy staying together, and if he or she is committed by showing love, care, trust, and time; then your relationship is worth fighting for.
