A Quarantine Christmas

Twas the Night Before Christmas and we were all in our own home
See we have to be 6 feet apart so the visitors they did not come
To Grandma's house we did not go at the relatives we will not show
It's a quarantine Christmas so no where we shall go
It's for the best some of us could use the rest
Instead we're thankful for technology so that we may gather virtually
While webcams run Christmas carols are still sung
We're just doing the holidays a little differently.
The love is still there holiday spirits still in the air
It's just a quarantine Christmas the house is just a little less crowded
But really nothing has changed the meaning is the same
You can still bring happiness to others while giving up yourself
just remember to stay 6ft away
Merry Christmas to all and happy socially distanced New Year!

Yup, it is a quarantine christmas every where. I missed my kids and hubby and my parents very much. We are far away, luckily technology is here to save the day

Happy Christmas, social distancing and COVID restrictions or not.
