A Poem of Bees

Loves animals and grateful their existance, insects included!

Bee Friend

You fell from the sky,

Unable to fly,

With a soft, distressed thud.

My sister and I,

Stared at you with big eyes,

And began to do all that we could.

We rushed to your aid,

On the picnic blanket laid,

A doughnut in hand, water on a spoon.

We held you on our finger,

And on it, you did linger,

If you left, it would be too soon.

Surprisingly you stayed,

Just like we had prayed,

But we knew you would soon have to go.

Once you were fed,

You flew onto my head,

Before leaving, oh I miss you so.
