A New Born Life
A new born life
So exciting
So new
Coming to term
Waiting to be born
This new shift
Will come soon
Only hoping
For beauty to bloom
In the anticipating
Awakening resides
A new dawn
A new life
Growing inside
What will come next
What happiness will lie
Only thoughts spin
In my mind
Of love until I die

Thank you Eric for reading and commenting. It's funny that you mention the birth of a baby because this poem was a comparison to childbirth in having a new born life. :)
Thank you Rinita for your kind words and for reading my poem. :)
Thank you John for your blessings, kind words and for reading my poem. :)

I have always had a problem with birth. Being in the room and "cutting" the cord with all four. My life is changed each time. But I am kind of a weirdo. I do that hands on humming thing on the baby for months. They just come out. And we already know each other.
"What will come next
What happiness will lie".
Well written and moving.
