A Little Seed

The poem encourages the act of helping. Stretch out your helping hands to those in need. No matter how small it may seem to you, you have no idea how hungry or hopeless the needy may be.

Let us extend our hands to them and give our little seed. It may surprise you how a little seed can change their life.

Remember the more we give, the more we receive.

A LITTLE SEED

We wake to resume our hustles and bustles,

Bearing our different crosses and burdens;
And under the angry sun that burns our back,
We hunt frantically for our daily bread.
Much as life frowns its face on us
And as we struggle through the forest of survival;
A helping hand we must extend
To those whom fate has made disabled.
No matter how little we may think it is;
For a little seed it may seem to us
But to them in need, a mighty tree it is;
From which at the moment they shall reap
And pour upon us bountiful blessings
From the depth of their gladdened heart.
