A LITTLE BIRD
There’s a bird outside my window
She flutters all around
From one planted flower to the next.
She stops for a minute
A whispered moment of thought
She listens for other sounds.
When she feels safe again
She wanders to the next plant
And dances gracefully
In rhythmic waves of joy.
