A Hopeful April Stroll

a-hopeful-april-stroll

A cool but mild sunny day

I see that robins are out to play

As I slowly walk along

I listen to their sweet bright song

A sudden breeze hits my face

And I start to quicken my pace

This easy stroll will do me well

The fresh air has me under its spell

These are quite strange days indeed

But there are moments we can be free

Let's still be grateful for present days

But keep looking forward to better ways

To enjoy life with less uncertainty and fear

Patiently wait and that time will be near

Wonderful write.

It sounds so peaceful.

It makes me want to go outside too...but it's only 41 degrees here today.

Just thankful I know it will warm up soon and I can take a stroll.

Thanks for sharing.
