Shake Things Up

I worked out in the yard for three hours today

It felt good

Outside in the the crisp fresh air

Bending and lifting leaves

Raking away

Picking up any fallen branches

The weather was great

In the fifties for Nov. 8th

How can we complain

Every year we pull up the solar lights

This year we decided to leave them in the ground

They still look beautiful

We bought some cheap ones at the dollar store

Then we bought some more expensive ones for a little more

We enjoy them so much

It gives us a beautiful warming touch

The weather will be getting colder soon

Snow will also come when the time is right

For now getting a little less daylight

The change in seasons

Gives us time to appreciate

What we have and when the flowers are all gone
