A Divine World of Soul's Magic: A Poem

Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

It's a world that I choose to know

filling up my soul's library of rhymes

capable of setting my whole life aglow

connecting old age with childhood times.

In colors so psychedelic are these butterflies

aimlessly visiting one flower then another

in fancy where only limit is blue skies

sanctuary where nothing can bother.

Willful intent in charge of the stage

orchestrating inner symphony of love

doing this fine job transcending my age

as if drawing energy from heaven above.

I run out of words trying to describing this joy

where nothing is missing to make life complete

what looks like problem feels like my favorite toy

with life a purpose to itself just happening so sweet.

Oh, yes, sometimes I make that outside trip

pretending to care about collective illusions

that are holding humanity in constant grip

with some totally senseless delusions.

Without any effort I always return

into this world of my own creation

with nothing from that trip to learn

but to unlearn, to keep this elation.
