A Christmas Like No Other
A Christmas like no other
that we’ve never seen before.
Please stand back two metres
leave the presents at the door.
No kissing under the mistletoe
No Christmas hugs for you.
This new thing called an elbow bump
is what you have to do.
No biscuits out for Santa
I hope he understands
Just leave a bottle and a note
“Dear Santa, sanitise your hands”
When we put this year behind us
And the good times can return.
We’ll make up for the year we’ve had
Bring on Christmas twenty-one.

You described Christmas this year very well in this poem Charlie. Let’s enjoy it as best we can and look forward to a much better one next year.

Cute one! Yes, I had forgotten that Santa will need to sanitize his hands.

Great! That's what keeps me going, Charlie; the fact that we can really celebrate with a vengeance next year! I'm going to treat everyone and go mad, and that's not usually my style!
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
