A Brief Meeting With Happiness: Poem

After a long-long wait,

I met you, yesterday,

With eyes wide,

And face bright,

My heart pumping fast,

Oh! The excitement,

So difficult to control,

I struggled hard,

To calm my nerves,

To preserve each moment,

To cherish the memories,

Could this moment last,

Forever—

I asked to myself,

But Happiness—,

It had to leave,

It was in hurry,

It does not stay for long,

Not longer than a while,

Neither with me,

Nor with anyone.

Happiness can be found, even in the blossoming of a flower.

Happiness can be found, even in the blossoming of a flower.

Happiness is a choice, which we have to make

What is Happiness?
Can we describe it?

It might be different, for different people.
For some, it can be riches; for some, good food; for some, it could be just togetherness.
Happiness is an emotional state of mind, which gives you feelings of joy, fulfilment, achievement, contentment etc,
It is basically a positive state of mind.

The important thing is that, Happiness isn’t constant. It usually refers to our present state of mind.

At one moment, we may feel happy, the next moment, we might not feel the same way.

Happiness, in fact should mean, the feelings of more positive emotions, and less negative emotions.
Happiness is a choice, which we have to make for ourselves.

Some people tend to be naturally happy, but some people, consciously cultivate it.

When we find ourselves stuck up with negative thoughts, we must look for ways to rethink, and embrace positivity.

Nothing lasts forever—

Neither Happiness, nor Sadness.
