Weary Traveler
I’m a weary traveler
Oh Lord
As you lead me
Across the land
The days are long
The miles are hard
The road’s much rougher
Than I’d planned
But Lord
You know my steps
How hard they’ve been
As I’ve trod along
From day to day to day
I’ve only been able to stand
By your good grace
And though the road grows
Shorter ever shorter
I the weary traveler knows
Till the end I will endure
All Is Vanity
All is vanity
The teacher says
All is vanity
As we spend our days
All is vanity
Vanity
Seeking our own
Way to travel
In this world our home
All is vanity
Vanity
Unless you seek
The truth
Follow the Lord
In all you do
What’s Up
Keep asking myself
What’s up
With the world today
We complain about
Things to change
But seldom step up
To change our ways
We complain
God’s not there
But have taken God
From everywhere
We complain
We want more
Then more and more
But are unwilling
To work
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. (Proverbs 3:3, ESV)
God’s Not Done
Each new day
I Travel
Under the sun
I think of the battles fought
The victories won
I also know
One thing for sure
There are battles ahead
I must endure
Cause
God’s not done with me yet
God’s not done with me yet
Walk Like a Christian
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
You claim your saved
Born again
Walkin a new way
But your walk doesn’t match
The words you say
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
Be the word people
Will see
Be the truth which
Will set the free
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
Walk like, walk like
A Christian
Lucky Day
I woke up this morning
Oh what a lucky day
Cause God gave me
Another chance
To lead people his way
Another chance to be
His hands
His feet
His voice
To show those around
There’s always a netter choice.
Oh what a luck day
Oh what a lucky day
We Have A Name
We have a name
We call ourselves
The only true name
Accepted by our Lord
Reborn
Reborn
Not as a babe
Reborn
To a change of ways
Reborn
To a new life
Free of sin and strife
Reborn
Reborn
Soul
The rhythm
which soothes the soul
Comes not
From the world around
Not from
Ideas which are tossed
And found
The rhythm
Which soothes the soul
Flows
From the heartbeat
Of God’s love
Which ebbs and flows
Endure
There are times
I want to
Give up
Quit
Throw in the towel
Say
It’s just not worth it
Then God calls me out
Says to me
Did I not
Create you
Make you
Knit you
In your mother’s womb
So weary one
Will I not
Lift you
Hold you
Carry you on through
So put your
Faith in
Trust in
Your hand in mine
I’ll help you walk
The long, sometimes hard
Line
I’ll help you to
Endure
Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right, (Proverbs 8:6, ESV)
Lift My Heart
I’m so happy
Happy
I’m so happy
Happy
Down
O Lord lift my heart
O Lord lift my heart
Lift my heart to stay
Down
I know you’re there
Lord
I know you there
each day
So why do I get so
Down
Why do I feel this way
Down
O Lord lift my heart
O Lord lift my heart
Lift my heart to stay
