Wisdom from the Master

"Our Lord whispers: "my sweet children, have faith, have faith, have faith!

Ignorance-night comes, only to go." - Sri Chinmoy

The Love: elegance, silent eloquence and eternal sacrifice of the rose

A Beautiful Earth

All the colours are still in this world.

Forces change, but the Light of the soul

Will never dim. A heart of shadows, will see

Only the abysmal mists of darkness-night, yet

When Love embraces me, I see only candescent Light.

There’s minimal movement in a rudderless boat.

A bird without wings and feathers, will not fly.

The matches of Love, will always ignite candles; night

Reveals the dazzling moon and awakens the new dawn.

Open your eyes, O Lantern. Remove the dark fog,

From the diamond Citadel of the Heart. At Love’s

Behest, Mother Gaia is dancing her own song.

Spinning the web of adversity, she churns her own

Cauldron, awakening the flames of glistening Light.

- Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 29th November, 2020.

With Love Anything at all Can Happen

When the eye of pure Love floods the Heart,

Anything at all can happen. I ride the winds,

Gliding on the flames of my own mirror. Aye, so

Many sparks of life, unconscious of their own beauty!

In chains for millennia, I knew only the pain of struggle;

Now that I am a prisoner of Joy, there’s only a river

Of music from within. I gaze at the snow-white moon,

As a sweet longing, envelops my shimmering soul.

I ask the blue sky to tell me her secrets; to

Entreat this same Light to dance within my Spirit.

The stars paid homage to my request, as the sun

Smiled, her cheeks gone red from blushing.

Daffodils come alive in my haven; everywhere

There’s the scent of lavenders and camellia blossoms.

The fire of sweetness, like a guard, keeps a close eye

On me; I dare not vacate, these gates of rapture.

When the eye of pure Love floods the Heart,

Anything at all can happen. Didn’t I tell you?

Wisdom from the Master

"I belong to God's Will

What more do I need?

What more do I care for? - Sri Chinmoy

"We are indestructible; we can never be shaken; we are the very essence of life." - Sri Chinmoy

If you think that you are working extremely, extremely hard,

Just think of the old man in heaven.

Your embarassment shall beggar description." Sri Chinmoy

Another poem with so much depth, so apt for Linda who opens our minds to Nature and its unique qualities. I agree, Love is at the centre of everything we do.

Linda deserves praise from all of us who learn from reading her works here on HubPages. You outdid yourself this time with your words of wisdom about love and its power. I loved that image with the words: "We are all one. Only egos, beliefs and fears separate us." That is so true!

"I would not hike mountains if I did not enjoy the struggle to the top."

I love this piece Bro! Wonderful! Thank you so much! Have a great Sunday. I may one day use your piece, in a lantern carrier sort of way:

"It may be a struggle to ascend mountains, but Joy awaits at the summit." Poetic me. Lol. Love, Bro.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on November 29, 2020:

Beautiful words and sentiment. I would not hike mountains if I did not enjoy the struggle to the top. God awaits me there.
