A Broken Heart, a Faded Life

a-broken-heart-a-faded-life

The autumn leaves falling down

The summer birds singing above

The frozen water moving along

How beautiful to see it all unchanged?

Remember our walks down that path

Remember how we cuddled and laughed

For now I sit alone here

How sad it is to see us apart?

Didn’t know I wasn’t enough

Thought our days were forever long

Until the goodbye pierced my soul

Thought I was stronger on my own….

The pillow was soaked in tears

My heart had no more fears

The memories glitter

But you are no more near…

Goodbye my princess ill never say

You are my love girl ill always say

Today tomorrow and forever I’ll stay

Until that someday you run back here I’ll stay….

thank you, I agree life is all about the next step and a break up is just the most painful feelings one could go through. thank you very much for the inspiration. looking forward to write more.

Beautiful reflection of the heart. Love hurts when it is true. Of course if is true, then there is no break up. Yours was true, but enduring relationships are good and rich are built upon a divine love, where the fabric of forgiveness covers a multitude of sins, and the linen of sacrifice wipes away the sins of lovers.
