My Testimony - How God did miracles in my life
There are things which are impossible for us in our daily life. Sometimes getting admission to a prestigious university is impossible for you. It may be unbelievable for you. The good news is that it is doable.
When I came to Delhi, I stayed in a rented room with my friends. 6 of us were living in a two-room apartment. That time, it was impossible for me to buy a flat. Then I shifted to different rooms in different areas of Delhi during the 6 years of my life in Delhi. Total ten times I shifted to different rooms with different friends. I shared a room with Assamies. I shared a room with Biharies. I shared a room with friends from Uttar Pradesh. Of course, I shared a room with our native land Kerala. At that time with the salary I got, it was impossible for me to even dream of owning a flat. I did not have any bank balance. I used to send money to my parents in Kerala. Whatever is left after my living expenses, I used to send it to my parents.
Owing a flat was a sheer impossible dream for me. When I face some difficulties, I prayed to God "God, give me my own flat, Even if it is a one-room flat, I am happy. Please give a flat to me." This prayer was prayed out of difficulties and mental agonies suffered by me due to the behavior of my friends who were staying with me. Due to the agony, I never thought of the possibility, financial situation, or my ability to afford a flat in Delhi city.
God is a good God. God provided some money in a miraculous way and at the end of 1999 and I bought a one-room flat. See God is a good God. Believe in Him. God will open ways for us. NOTHING is impossible with God. Yes, with men there are a lot of impossibilities in this world, but withGod there are no impossibilities. Believe the unbelievable and receive the impossible because it’s doable!
Release of Peter from the Jail
Prayer can do the Miracle
In Acts chapter 12 we see that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
Here also the situation was very tough. It was impossible for the early church to get back their leader. Peter's was about to die. The church was fearful and helpless. They did not have resources to get Peter out of the jail. They did not have the power to bring Peter out of the Jail. Believers did one thing. They prayed earnestly to God. They did what they can do.
When things are against us, when the situation is against us, when we feel fearful and helpless, we can do one thing. Trust in the Lord and pray. In any situation, you can pray. That is what the early church did when they face the unbelievable and impossible situation.
Then we read that the night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.
Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
When they prayed, God sent His angel to rescue Peter. It was unbelievable. It was impossible. but It was doable. God sent his angel. When the angel came, the chains fell off Peter's wrists.
In your life also when you pray, God will send his angel. When the angel comes, the chains of your hands will fell off. You will be free. You may be chained by sickness. You may be chained by financial difficulties. You may be chained by employment difficulties. Whatever it is, it will fell off of your hands. You will be free.
Not only God broke the chains, but also God opened the first and second guards and the iron gate for Peter. Whatever Satan chained or blocked by iron gates, will be loosened and opened for you. Do what you can do. Pray earnestly. God will do miracles in your life. Today is your day. A day of victory. A day of celebration. A day of happiness. Trust in the Lord and Believe the unbelievable and receive the impossible because it’s doable! NOTHING is impossible with God. Yes, with men there are a lot of impossibilities in this world, but withGod there are no impossibilities.
Trust in God
Stop looking at your own abilities—God isn’t! He already knows when He gives you impossible dreams or calls you to do impossible tasks that it’s something YOU can’t do. It’s impossible for you; that’s a fact. But it’s NOT impossible for Him, and that’s the truth! All God asks is that you let Him do His job, and you do yours.
I used to struggle with the big things, but God showed me that He didn’t ask me to do it, He just asked me to believe Him for it. All God asks me to do is believe. My job is to believe that God can do His job. His job is to make it come to pass. That takes the weight off of my mind so that I just live one day at a time and walk with Him. It’s an issue of trust.
