Phil Plasma: Actually, I see how #99 could be entertaining. I suppose one man's pet peeve is another one's amusement. That's a wonderful attidude to have; I wish more people were like you in that regard.

I actually find #99 entertaining when it happens to me.

Funny list, I don't generally get bothered by much, I don't find getting bothered serves a purpose. Voted up and funny.

f: I agree. It is more important to develop one's character and become more patient with the people or things that annoy us rather than learning to communicate one's frustration.

Yes, I do take a thoughtful approach when making most decisions which also includes the subject of tattoos.

Yes; irritation is a many faceted thing. Maybe, conversely, we could also say in a more general context: it's a development of character not to allow oneself to become too irritated; but this is another aspect, I suppose.

'definitely have to be meaningful in order for me to enjoy it long term': yes, you enjoying it long term would seem to be most significant for you; and you definitely seem to have a cerebral approach to tattoo design, as I would expect from a very thoughtful lady.

      'haha'; yes, haha (!)

f: That's true; people don't even realize that they are annoying others by their actions. Also, different people are irritated by various things, so there's no way to know what they are unless they tell you. Yes, if I did get one, it would definitely have to be meaningful in order for me to enjoy it long term (but I'm not getting one haha).

      Voted up.

Lots to think about there! You know, some ppl do some of these things and they probably don't even realize that they are doing them, or that other people are annoyed by whatever it is.

Interesting you should say 'Meaningless tattoos': I can see that you would want yours to have a definite significance, rather than simply being a cool pattern, if you got a tattoo.

      Thoughtful hub!

Alecia Murphy: It happens to me frequently as well for the very same reasons! I agree with you 100%. Concerning #37, I also agree; I suppose it's best to just leave them in the past. Thanks so much!

#19 happens to me alot since I live in the south and I also look younger than I am but it's disrespectful unless you've built a relationship with the person.

#37 is definitely interesting but I just make it a point not to interact with that person.

      Great hub!

When someone wants you to help them do something that they do not know how to do. Then they complain that you didn't show them the right way to do it.

North Wind: I definitely understand your point. I believe the culture of today has presented technology as a means of connecting with others, but in doing so, has led people to be distracted from actual social interaction. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting. Some of these do bother me but others not so much. For one thing I am not on FaceBook so I suppose my pet peeve is hearing people talk about FaceBook or being in the company of a person who won't stop chatting on FaceBook. I don't understand the point of being out with friends and burying your head in your phone having conversations with people and updating your status every moment. Why go out then? Obviously the website is more important. Ha! I went on and on so I suppose it really is a pet peeve of mine :)
