My Song Lyrics can be sang along to the same rhythm and beat as that of Riders On The Storm, by The Doors. Enjoy!

Reality Bites The Dust

Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics (Queen)

Reality Bites The Dust

Emotional Trauma can alter the brain in a way which can cause one to behave in a

continual fight, flight, or freeze descent; this imprisonment of Post Traumatic Stress

Disorder (PTSD), can be caused by many a traumatic, or ongoing, disastrous event.

It has been said that the brain has the ability to remold, or alter itself, from this

damage, by way of positive stimulation; however, it might take reliving of painful

events, in order to bring about the sufferer's long, over-due liberation.

So, until this method becomes more finely-tuned, I suggest we take a much needed

flight of our own. Shall we?

Reality Bites The Dust

Oh! Let’s Fly!

Eve twirls happily through her mind

Claiming a world of her own

She’s leaving this one here far behind

Looming in distant unknowns

She’s been eager, yeah, she’s been eager to leave

She was walking the tight rope in full-view

But no one saw her bright-bloody sleeves

They looked past each raw clue

Reality bites the dust

Reality bites the dust

Her unicorn flies high, her unicorn flies high

Reality bites the dust

Hey, she’s gonna ride right through

Reality bites the dust

There’s no need to wonder when she’ll come back

Bridges burned, can’t backtrack

She’ll leave behind everything when she goes

Ain’t no reason to come back

She’ll be flyin’, She’ll be pacified

Her past life will whizz on by

The white hallways will turn vivid blue

Restraints will be untied

(Look out!)

Reality bites the dust

Reality bites the dust

Her unicorn flies high, her unicorn flies high

Reality bites the dust

Hey, she’s gonna ride right through

Reality bites the dust

There are numerous known ways to exit a room

And look like you’re still there

No one can tell, no one will know

Behind that cold-steel, hollow-eyed, vacant stare

But, she’s eager, yeah, she’s eager to fly

There’s just nothing more to be said

She’ll jump on sideways and down she’ll sit

Her unicorn will fly straight ahead

Reality bites the dust

Reality bites the dust

Her unicorn flies high, her unicorn flies high

Reality bites the dust

Hey, she’s gonna ride right through

Reality bites the dust

I think we all wish we could fly. At night when I close my eyes I do my best flying. Such a beautiful hub.

You put a whole new meaning to a song when I was a teenager we use to drink too. Your imagination works effortlessly to bring images of such beauty to light. Thank you for sharing.

      Bill,

      Lol..thank you!

These lyrics are meant to go along with Queen’s song, “Another One Bites The Dust “. I don’t like the lyrics of Queen’s song. Thus, I made my own.

      Louise,

Awwe, thank you :-) I can fly in my dreams. And when I look up at a bird, I imagine I am that bird soaring thru the skies.

      That’s cool, Dora.

Yes, I was thinking of her riding side-saddle, just in case she was wearing a dress; seemed more proper.

Thank you for reading my poem (song lyrics), Dora. It’s always an honor to have your delightful visit.

The idea of jumping on sideways makes her desire for flight seem so intense. I've also flown in my dreams, many years back.

She seems like she's in her own little world. Sometimes having two feet on the ground is overrated.
