High mountains and vast oceans are hurdles meant to be overcome. This is all for the purpose of discovering what is beyond the horizon that the eyes cannot see. When you look up and see the sky, what do you see? What I see are endless possibilities of what we can do and achieve if we set our visions beyond our borders.
Let me clarify things first. Most people confuse goals and visions to be the same. Although they are coinciding, there is still a difference. Goals are something that just befits your satisfaction while visions are something deeper, more meaningful.
What do you see when you close your eyes? Space? Darkness? I dare you to concentrate more and look closely. Do you see a successful doctor living in his own house, riding his own car and buying things with his own wealth? Then maybe, you start questioning yourself, "Why do I want to pursue this career?" If so, then you have successfully grasped your vision.
Visions vary from person to person. As well as to what extent those visions wander. Regardless, you should not limit to where it should end. Instead, aim higher, aim bigger! Dream for more! What do you fear? Failure?
Failure is just a part of the process. Fail and you have lots of room to grow. Fail and you can be a greater version of yourself. The greatest mistake is not to fail but not to do what you should have done.
A quote from the movie Letters to Juliet says, "What and If are two words as non-threathening as words can be, but put them together side by side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life."
Wreck those walls. Move forward. Then and only then will you see a clearer picture of what you will be if you cast aside your doubts.
Have you crossed the border? What do you see?
