Everyone should have a dream for a better future. However, they should not leave it up to chance. There are some things people can do to help their dream come true.

Dreams can be fulfilled. Here are six things you can do that will be a big way to help them along the way.

Have a burning desire for your dream. If you desire something with all your heart, you are on the right track to getting it. Your dream should not be a passing phase. Don't think about it one day and not do anything about it until months or even years later.

Think of your dream as your baby. Can you imagine the horrible things that will happen if you do not feed your baby or take care of it in other ways?

That's the way it is with dreams. If you do desire it enough to take care of it, it will die. Keep your dream alive by working toward it every single day.

Have a realistic idea about your dream. Discern what is real and what is not. It is not realistic for your dream to be fulfilled overnight. It could be, but it is highly unlikely.

Therefore, have a discernment about what is right and wrong, fair and unfair, just and unjust. Don't go into your dream with shady ideas and a quick scheme for instant success.

We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. (Hebrews 6:11)

God rewards diligence. Be diligent about your dream by giving it your full attention. Don't let go of your dream until it comes to fruition even if you have a few setbacks.

Even professional basketball players misses the basket sometimes. Olympian gymnast like Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles didn't get to where they are today by staying on the balance beam every single time.

Be diligent and don't let a setback be a turnoff for your dream.

Apparently, you think your dream is worth being fulfilled. If not, you would not have it as a dream in the first place. Since you do believe that you have a worthwhile dream, keep dreaming until it comes about.

Being dedicated and devoted to your dream means you have to make sacrifices for it. You shouldn't jump up and be out and about every time your friends suggest it. If so, you will be at the mall helping others fulfill their dream of having their own clothesline, perfumes or hair products. You neglect your own dream by leaving it on the back burner. Be dedicated to your own dream.

You must be determined that your dream will become fulfilled. Let your behavior be so trained that everything you do and say points towards your dream. When you are disciplined in what you set out to do, people and things will gravitate towards you to help your dream come true.

Decision Making

Dreams come true or fail based on decisions. Therefore, it is very important to make the right decisions. Never make a decision on your own. Always inquire of the Lord about the path you should take. Remember, every good idea is no a God idea

Pray to God. Listen to Him, and obey what He tells you to do even if you do not understand it or agree with it at the time. Obedience is better than sacrifice, according to 1 Samuel 15:22.

God is the One who put the dream in your heart in the first place. He would not have given it to you if He thought it was impossible for it to come true. God wants your dream to become part of your destiny.

Do you have a dream you are working on?
