Personal testimonies and life experiences that illuminate the undeniable presence of God.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you
Firstly, what does it mean to seek God?
Wikipedia defines the Etymology of this scripture as follows: from the King James translation of Matthew 7:7:
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
Which basically means, to look for God, learn about Him, draw closer to Him, and He will bless you with “every blessing in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 1:3)
When my husband and I sought God with all our hearts, we found that our life problems (that had plagued us ever since we were married) started to fall away. We miraculously got our home loan debt cleared, with fees waived. We got new jobs after two years of unemployment (and with little kids to look after). Times were not easy, because worst of all, we had no outside help – no family who could or was wiling to help financially. Most importantly we found that the knowledge of God, and who He is and what He’s about, is the most valuable thing we could have ever hoped to discover.
How Do I Look For God?
Well, it sounds easy enough, but if you aren’t looking in the right places for the Truth (aka Jesus) then you may end up looking for a false God, complete with false teachings that could lead you astray.
The best place to find God is in the Holy Bible for the Word of God is inspired by God Himself
“all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
I personally prefer the King James version but you are free to use whichever version is the easiest to digest. I know when I first started reading my Bible at around age 12… it was not an easy task… in fact it only got easier in my mid twenties, to be honest. I was seeing the words, but I wasn’t fully grasping them, that's because I needed a tutorial (in the form of attending church sermons, or listening to podcasts, or even YouTube videos from those knowledgeable in the Word of God). I also found that joining a Bible Study group from my church helped, because it helped dissect the Word into a relatable, comprehensible format, plus discussions about the Word of God also helped clear up any misunderstandings I may have had.
When you live for God, expect to get tangible results.

Never Stop Praying
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
