There are some quotes that hit you so hard that your entire thought process changes. And, these are the quotes which helped me to deal with the toughest situations of life.
Here are the quotes that made the same impact on me:
1. "If you don't have even 10 minutes of your life, then you don't have life" - Tony Robbins
I can proudly say that I love the relationship I have with myself. So much so, that I seek out as many moments as I can to be alone. Not because I am depressed or lonely. Rather, I love the time spent with ME. I learn about who I am and what matters to me. Most importantly, this time of quiet self-rumination fills me up so that I am able to go out and face the world.
2. "Don't read success stories, you will get only message. Read Failure stories, you will get some ideas to get success" - Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
Sometimes it's better to know what not to do rather than knowing what to do. It gives you more and more ideas to achieve what you want in your life. And it also keeps you motivated to step out of the box and get what you want.
3. "Don't expect anything from anybody. Neither family nor friends" - Anonymous
This line has an tremendous impact on me. I started to understand people and their situations more. I started to feel how expectations put a lot of pressure on our loved ones. So, practicing this helped me to become a happier person and made me to come closer to myself.
4. "Love Unconditionally, but rely only on YOURSELF" - Marty Rubin
Everybody says, when you love someone unconditionally, it comes back to you. I totally agree that we should love wholeheartedly but we should never expect to get it in return. We should never rely on that belief that it is going to come back. Just rely on yourself and you will see that it is changing you internally.
Everybody has their own idea of friendship and love. They react and do things according to that. That is why it is difficult for someone to make you happy and complete. But, with nobody’s fault, you end feeling lonely and blue.
5. "If you are still looking for that one person who will change your life, take a look in the mirror" - Roman Price
Accept yourself for who you really are. Everybody have negative qualities. So better to accept it and try to work on them to get better. Never make the mistake of living in denial. You will only be delaying to realize your Self-Worth sooner. We have to deliberately take steps to build and develop our sense of regard for ourselves. Healthy Self-Worth is a source of deep and lasting satisfaction in life.
6. "The greatest step towards a life of simplicity is to learn to let go" - Steve Maraboli
I tend to stuck between my failures. I was not able to let them go and continuously think about that. I found it hard to accept and it only brought headaches, nothing else.
Focus on present. You can’t change what happened, but you can definitely work for future. For this, you have to accept and let it go. Learn lessons from your failure but don’t dwell on it. When you accept that, it starts to lose power over you.
7. "Peace begins when expectation ends" - Sri Chinmoy
Nothing hurts more than your own expectations. Whether it is from you or someone else. We all have expectations in our lives – What we want to do or what we want to become or something else.
But, one of the most important keys to be in peace is to expect less. While expecting, we create an imaginary world in our mind which is far from reality. And when reality hits, we are not able to cope up with it. So better to accept the reality and work for your betterment.
These are the few quotes which helped me to move on in my life and allowed me to be free and happy. And there must be at least one quote which affected you deeply and changed the course of your thought.
So, let me know "YOUR QUOTE" in the comment section.
Thank you guys!!!
