Faith Without Doubt

A Christian man speaking the truth and ready to share the things I learn from the Bible with others.

Faith Without Doubt

Have you ever opened a book that you are not interested in and started reading it. Now we know when a person is interested in a book they more easily can see what it's saying. Now relating that to speaking without doubt, would you rather a teacher teach with confidence and without a doubt?

Matthew 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
Matthew 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Matthew 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Why is this so important well looking at our relationship with God and also when we love others as we would love our own self. If you are looking for Jesus in them, but yet you doubt how can you accomplish the task, seeing that your failing right from the start?

Moving mountains of sin without doubt

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Would you like to be able to move mountains of sin in people and help lead them out of the darkness into the light?

1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Now many people misunderstand what kinds of things should be asked for, and if you love with all your heart, soul, mind, strength, and if you are seeking spiritual and eternal things to lay up treasure in heaven, not on earth. Then shouldn't we be asking for spiritual things and not things of this world?

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Now if you ask of God, do you doubt or are you confident he will bless you with all that you have need of? Do you pray and ask for things not only for yourself but for others also? Have you ever woke up and while starting your day had a good, clear and perfect thought come to you to share with another?

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

When you plant a seed in the dirt, you don't always know what's going on but God gives the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Never doubt the power of God

Many may doubt saying that man can't be helped. Do you know the guy that doubts has already failed on being able to give his best performance? Because when he doubted he also doubted God's power to save. There are limits though and if one doesn't want to hear then your job is done. But remember all with be without excuse and you may recognize when you are not leading the conversation their itching ears seem to ask for more even when they said they don't want to hear any more.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

As you can see if they say they don't want to hear anymore, best to relax, they will come back to you and ask for more if they desire. Many in minutes will trigger the conversation back up and you sit back teaching them but they lead the questions. Now let's look at what Gods word accomplishes.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Whatever God wants it to it will accomplish. God wants us to cast our cares on him and to pray without ceasing. But I encourage all to pray without a doubt and be confident. If you lack in an area you can pray and ask, but also keep in mind we have a perfect completed written word. So why would God give you something because of your lack of study? Now there's a difference between intelligence and growing in knowledge than in what is revealed based on the things you learn. So if you lack in wisdom ask but remember to study.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Now seeing God's Word will accomplish what he wants it to. We spread his word and plant many seeds in people and in many areas we don't see whats growing at the moment or not but there are times where it may be months later a person may come back to you and say, I have been looking for you for months now, I wanted to tell you I believe. If you want better progress don't doubt. Be confident and don't lean to your own understanding. Do what you do with joy knowing your working for God. You may feel angry and like there is no hope for some people but why feel and think there. There is hope for everyone as long as we live and have the ability to repent. To come to God and know him and obey the gospel. Opportunity is now as long as we live.

Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

The faith I follow, The spirit and the Jesus the Son of God I follow I can know by scripture from my Righteous God. Nothing can change my faith, I know to trust in God and through that word which is a living word and is Christ and if you have the son you also have the father. One must know God in his ways and the gospel must be obeyed. These ways don't come from the air or a feeling or any place other like they are hidden because they are not. They are accessible to everyone and no one is superior. There are believers and non believers and my God has revealed to me what I am to do because of the scriptures. When it talks of end days it also talks of many anti Christ. Growing up never did I hear people mock the bible or speak of it as though we have a vain thing in this world. Without that bible without the desire to know God and to turn towards him and to study that word. Where would the lamp be that would light my path? Who doesn't know in this world that if they want to know God to study the bible. But seeing as the cares of this world chokes that out of people and parents not training their children up in the way that they should go. I see a great lack of desire even though it echo's a voice and warnings of a bad place for people that won't walk in the light. How can you know Christ image without the bible that the right God has there for any to access? Many will follow a spirit that may seem like an angel of light. But as for me my light will be the light I get from the spirit where that word came from. It has brought me to a place of peace and I have found clarity. I notice blessings in my soul and in well doing I notice prosperity to be able to heal others with a greater effect and massive more raining of blessing in the true light. It is evident and without that word only there is man's ways and imaginations and that is a non-believer way deceived but the gospel is the light that can make the blind see. I soul , my trust , my heart , my strength , my life , my wall will trust in that word forever my achor is set. IT IS EVIDENT although I live on earth ...that there is a great light and many will believe on it and many won't. The battle is right here and it's just like this.

Romans 8:8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

      2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

The spirit is here and this is the word have you hearkened to it?

      Want to see examples

Jeremiah 29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the Lord, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the Lord.

Jeremiah 29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:

Without Knowledge and without trusting in this spirit , you are destroyed by lack of knowledge. And this same bible if you don't follow that spirit and you speak of another way ....you speak of another gospel and are accursed.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

IF YOU DON'T TEACH BY SCRIPTURE WE DON'T AGGREE AND NEVER WILL ....everyone got a imagination. But not everyone believe in the true light and many are in a strong deulsion by the devil.

      2 Corinthians 4:4

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Without the bible / gospel / good news how else can you really be set free. I believe many don't reconize they are doing satans work. Although it may seem sincere and seem though your following the right light.

I know of a greater light and in that light that spirit you can become the right man.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

As you can see we have what we need. The devil wants you to not hearken to the gospel. The devil wants you to say it's of no value. Because the devil is a liar.

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

When you say oh the bible is nothing compared to whatever you follow separate from that word. This lights up in my heart to share with you. It lights up because the true light the right place as the right answers and the words that have the most affect. Lovers of this light will come closer it seems and haters will separate in whatever way they go as like there the wind tossed to and fro and don't even have a clue because they never started with Christ being the foundation i think is how it would be said.

Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

If the bible be the things that be of God and God says ....hear ye him.

I hope all will come to obey the gospel and come to know God.

The world says it's just words it don't matter they look other places ....well I've tasted and taste of the greater power. Have you ever believed this word without doubt and went with all your heart , soul , mind and strength. If not ....I doubt we will ever relate but my mouth as long as I live will try to strengthen others and encourage them to study and gain faith and grow in the love and knowledge of a evident righteous God

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

      Exodus 3:14

And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

If we say Jesus was not with God in the beginning then we reject God because God says Jesus was with him in the beginning. In Hebrews 1:2, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he have appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

Col 1:16, says that all things were created by him and for him. Col 1:17 says he is before all things and by him all things consist.

John 1:14, says the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

John 1:1 says Jesus was with The Father at creation and verse 3 says he created all things. In Genesis 1:26, 27, it says Let us make man in our image. There was a plurality.

Heather it's a joy hearing your comment. First of all, if you say you have a problem trusting yourself. This verse lights up "Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." See if you love God and keep him first in life you really don't have to worry about trusting yourself or other things because your whole life will fall in place. The hard part I think is this world tries to choke the good out of us and it's hard to do as good as we desire or want to. I also don't worry about tomorrow because I trust in God and I have always been taken care of. I like hearing what you wrote. You will have lots of wonders but as you keep studying his word you will know what is from God and what is not. We should always watch and examine all the things we do and if we see an error or speak something wrong we should correct ourselves but remember this we are man and our word and the things we do will never be perfect. But Gods Word is perfect. When I say man it relates man male and female. God made man male and female in Genesis. Now our minds get many thoughts and we have to be careful because even the devil will try to break into our hearts and deceive us and turn us to bad things. But the devil is not allowed to tempt us past what we can bear. How God works in you is through his divine written word. Fill your heart with his word and keep studying. Keep God in all your thoughts and acknowledge him in all your ways. Ask him for what you need whether to help you or others. He wants us to ask even though he already knows what we have need of. But here is a very clear message on how you know you trust God, If I say to you something and teach you about God - Don't know it because I said it. Know it because you looked in the bible read it and believed it. "Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." We will always make mistakes. God knows if we do what we do with a honest and good heart or not. Be the seed on the good ground. "Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." Keep God in all your thoughts and acknowledge him in all your ways. Asking for something that you can study in the bible I find won't magically come to anyone, but to understand how God is working I see is more easily recognized the more we fill our hearts with his divine written word. "2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Psalm 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts." I hope you enjoy and that this may help trigger up some good thoughts to help as you grow in the love and knowledge of God. When seeking God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength it seems we are recognized and I myself think that light or spirit or so helps us even as we live each day. I know without thinking bible verses light up and clear paths that help me and others and the more faithful I am the brighter it shines to push the darkness away it seems. It's so inspiring and gets better and better. It's easy though for the world to coke it out of us but as we live it's like there is an open gate. I just hope when the last day comes that we all will be found in the light and not outside of it. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." Let's follow each other Heather I also wonder many things and im the least of most Christians it seems like others speak so well that I learn from that im always silent in Church most the time. Seeing we both seek God and to grow as Christians I would like to keep up with your articles and see more comments from you because it allows me to practice as a Christian and trigger up thoughts. There is something about helping others and being active in sharing his word that seems to fill my heart with wonders of answers that matter and that have answers and it seems the word is at work and by what you have in your heart may be a day later maybe a month later seems verses and clear paths light up to share with others and for your own self. I'm inspired by that and there are my wonders there because I don't know what all goes on but what I do know I see it clear and I see it's good and I share that good thing and answer with bible verses for others to verify. But overall why trust yourself cast all them cares on God. "Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it." 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬

As Jesus said, we must become like little children. My kids don’t worry about money, or food, or even what tomorrow will bring. They trust that my husband and I will take care of them. This is how we should trust God.

For me, my problem is trusting myself. I trust God completely. But as a growing Christian who still has a lot to learn, I wonder to myself, “Did I hear God correctly? Was that God speaking to me or just my own thoughts?” There’s been times that I was sure it was Him, without a doubt and other times, not so sure. Just something I am struggling with right now.

Yes, nice comment, Reminds me of, I think it was Lot and his wife and she looked back and turned into salt. I think about this sometimes if you're looking away from a light you can see the beams but when you look into the light you can see the image. We also know that we could do things 99% right but if we do 1% wrong on purpose. We know it only takes a little to block light out of the way. I think on that because living in life the things we see and learn and have around us seem to help us comprehend the things we cannot it would seem. There could have been many reasons about Peter walking towards Jesus but the one reason I know for sure that was lacking was he had little faith and Jesus said wherefore didst thou doubt? So I just target the area of faith and doubt. If we wonder in areas without scriptural answers it's more of an area of wonder, entertainment, mystery but overall without an answer, it would not be profitable. I say that because we could share many wonders what all we can really know to believe is what is written and it's all we need to know. I say that because I could focus on "O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" or I could focus on another area. But no matter what we say it still leads back to the fact of the matter that we do know and that is little faith and doubt. I think a part of why it would say little faith also maybe because they were still learning and unlike us, we have had this written word since birth. They were under a different law. I say this not that it bothers me hearing what could have been the reason separate from what we can know but as a profitable thought. It's just a part of me loving as I would love my own self. I know our minds are amazing and can hold so much info but in every category, I think it has its targets and if we fill it with what we can know the flow of knowledge and truth will be easier. But if we fill it with what we don't know sometimes it may be hard to get to the more valuable things to share with others. I think this would also go with a verse. "Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" I have a lot to learn and thank you for reading my blog. I hope we will be edifying and keep provoking one another to more love and good works. I am new at writing on here and for a long time, I thought I was kind of weird and not sure if I made sense but I am still learning. I love the comments. But overall my point on this is our mind can be like a bedroom and if we organize and categorize things right then the area we target is easier to work with and the flow in all states can be easy. So if it's gospel we know these conversations are to be held the highest of all and in truth. I'm going to follow you let's grow together.

      Hi Rockney,

I enjoyed your article very much and I hope others are edified and helped by it as well. You appear to be a young man well grounded in your faith for Jesus - I would only encourage you to never let it go, so much so in the days ahead.

I particularly enjoyed your expounding of Matthew 14: 30 and Peter, being very impetuous, wanted to show the others in the boat that he could do it - all he had to do was ask Jesus as he knew Jesus would not let any harm come to him - bear in mind Peter couldn't swim, but his impulsive nature got him into trouble. It's quite possible that before he became afraid he turned around to see who was watching him in the boat simply because of pride. And at that moment he took his eyes off Jesus and that caused the problem.

Other eyes were also watching this event with interest - Satan's.

When Peter first came out of the boat and began walking on the water, he would have had his gaze fixed firmly on Jesus but the moment he turned away it's possible Satan struck, causing doubt and when Peter turned his gaze back to Jesus he may have momentarily lost sight of Jesus amidst the wind and the waves.

I'm sure you would understand the need to keep our eyes always focused on Jesus as 'other eyes' are watching us too and it only takes a moment of distraction that will cause us to sink as well.

      Best regards Rockney,

      Jack.
