When the World Goes “Color Blind”

Artist. Poet. Writer. With each word I wish you see.... The world within & the one around me

Look beyond the book. Look within, all is stark, visions stem from a mind still, and dark
Look beyond the book. Look within, all is stark, visions stem from a mind still, and dark

When the world goes "color blind"
The mind is simply on rewind
Red, yellow, green or gold
Nothing too meek, nothing too bold
Nothing to search, nowhere to seek
Your sight is selfish, finite and weak
Your vision a mere deception
“Black Holes” the true means for conception
Since the start, you are meant to depart
In the end, there is nowhere left to go
Above or below
Your brain will forget all faces
Your life will erase all traces
All traces of places you yearn
We simply were born, to perish and burn
Such are the seeds we sow
To forget is the only way to know
The Earth looks up to the Moon and Sun
Till time and universe are finally done
For dust and ashes to settle
Better drink that tea burning hot, straight from the kettle
Better lose each "selfie" you find
When world goes color blind
