Vow of Living Love

Kenneth, loves satire and writings to spotlight others, but he also has an "addiction" so to speak, to dramatic and abstract/prose poetry.

Beyond your trembling glass . . .
Through your mangled notes . . .
I'll love
You'll love.

Over the frozen pane . . .
Inside secret rains . . .
We'll love
We'll love/

Inside the hazy dreams . . .
Aside from memories cast . . .
I'll hold you . . .
I'll hold you . . .

Up through your dirt . . .
Scraping off the blood . . .
I'll promise
I'll promise.

I've captured the breeze . . .
And walked by degrees . . .
I am yours
I am yours.

When your lazy eyes shut . . .
When my hazy pupils cling . . .
You'll smile
You'll smile.

When our hands clinch tight
When we unfold our gifted night
We are one
We are one.

A smiling obscure cloud fades . . .
A running brook dries today . . .
You smile
You smile.

When I touch silk 'neath skin
You will see what I've been
You now see
You now see.

When ages pile high
I get wings to die
We sigh
We sigh.

Hello, Gypsy Rose Lee,

Thank you so much from my heart for leaving such a warm comment.

I wonder if music were added to this poem and someone were to read it to . . .Naaaahhhh.

Too Hollywoodish.

Thanks, GRL.

Love you.

Hi, Audrey,

I can't lie to you. This is something that reminds me of someone many years ago long, long before HubPages.

Funny how some memories never fade.

Thanks, Dear Friend, for always allowing me the space to think.

Write soon.

Dearest Sakina :)

Your sweet words always encourage me to keep writing hubs about life, love, mystery and yes, even pain.

God bless you for all of your comments.

Stay safe.

This is such a romantic poem dear buddy. I love the rhymes and the images that you've built through this wonderful poem. The repetitive lines at the end of each stanza are so impactful and perfectly written. In awe of your talent and poem. More power to you and may God bless you always. :)
